A week that did not
exist before.

Not every company needs the same thing. This example shows how a week comes about when we listen first and plan second – from a single day to a full holiday week.

What it is about

Listen first.
Then plan.

Theme weeks such as “Adventure”, “Water” or “Detectives” work reliably. Even so, we do not fix the theme at a desk. It grows out of what you tell us about your sites, times and families.

Are there many siblings? Do children come from different countries? Is there a meadow at the site, or only a courtyard? From those answers we build a concept – and adjust it together with you after the first run.

And yes: some evenings the children come home dirty. That is not an accident, that is the plan.

The week, day by day

Five days, five stories

This is what a week developed together with you could look like. Times, blocks and emphases shift with what you need.

Monday

Arriving first

The first day belongs to the children and their names. Getting-to-know games, a first morning circle, and the joint decision on what the week should be called. Anyone still shy is allowed to be shy – by snack time almost everyone is talking.

Tuesday

A face becomes a character

Creative day. Face paint, crafting, dressing up – and out of it grows a story that keeps developing through the week. Some act it out, some would rather draw it. Both count.

Wednesday

Everything that takes strength

A movement day in the hall and outdoors: climbing, balancing, group games. For children who would rather watch there is a quiet corner – nobody has to join in, but almost everyone wants to.

Thursday

Out into the field

An excursion into the maize maze. Finding paths, getting lost, finding each other again, making feather headdresses. In the afternoon they write and draw what happened that morning.

Friday

Showing what happened

The last day is the loudest. All together one more time, a group photo that later ends up on the fridge. And in the afternoon the children show what came out of the week.

At the end of the week
“What was the best bit?” – “Everything.”
The answer rarely gets more precise than that.

The daily rhythm

A framework that adapts

The outline below is a starting point, not a timetable. From four hours and from eight to ten children onwards, a dedicated programme can be built from it.

The framework

So that it works organisationally

Ages as needed

From kindergarten to lower secondary – the programme follows the registrations.

From 8–10 children

From that size a dedicated programme makes sense.

From 4 hours

From half-day care at a company event to a full holiday week.
